VitalCall Transplant Services provides time-sensitive SMS notifications to registered healthcare professionals involved in transplant coordination. Messages may include transplant case notifications, organ availability alerts, and operational coordination instructions. Protected Health Information (PHI) is never transmitted via SMS messaging.
2. Opt-In Consent:
Recipients must provide express consent prior to receiving SMS notifications. Consent may be obtained verbally with documentation, electronically via web form, or through written agreement. By enrolling, users agree to receive operational transplant notifications.
3. Message Frequency:
Message frequency varies based on transplant activity and operational needs.
4. Message & Data Rates:
Message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient’s mobile carrier plan.
5. Opt-Out Instructions:
Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP. A final confirmation message will be sent confirming removal from the program.

SECTION II – PRIVACY POLICY
1. Information We Collect:
We may collect professional contact information including name, role, facility affiliation, phone number, and email address. We do NOT collect or transmit patient names, medical record numbers, diagnoses, or any PHI via SMS.
2. Use of Information:
Information is used solely for transplant coordination notifications, operational communication, regulatory compliance, and service administration.
3. HIPAA Commitment:
VitalCall Transplant Services is committed to HIPAA compliance. PHI is never transmitted through SMS or ClickSend messaging services. All clinical data is shared exclusively through secure, HIPAA-compliant systems.
4. Data Sharing:
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be shared only with service providers (such as messaging platforms) or regulatory authorities when legally required.
5. Data Security:
Administrative, technical, and physical safeguards are implemented to protect collected information. SMS messaging is not encrypted end-to-end and should not be used to transmit sensitive health information.
6. Data Retention:
Contact information is retained only as long as necessary to provide services or comply with applicable legal requirements.
